Mrs. Dupre, a resident of Ville Platte, died at 1:30 a.m. Thursday, May 18, 2000, in Opelousas General Hospital. She was a housewife.
Survivors include: two sons, Larry Dupre of Newaverly, Texas, and Paul Gus Dupre of Opelousas; two daughters, Mrs. Urel (Jackie) Fontenot of Ville Platte and Mrs. George (Bernita) Parks of Opelousas; 17 grandchildren;33 great-grandchildren; and three great-great
grandchildren.
Mrs. Dupre was preceded in death by her husband, Talbot Dupre; her parents, Douvic Ardoin and Estelle Fontenot Ardoin; a son, Charles T. Dupre; and a daughter.
Visiting hours will be observed from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. Saturday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home on the Sunset Hwy. in Opelousas is in charge of arrangements.
