William H. Morris, 72, died in Bridgeton Hospital Sunday morning from injuries sustained when he was struck by an automobile Friday evening in front of his home, 474 Burlington Avenue.

Mr. Morris was born in Kent County, Delaware, and moved to New Jersey 48 years ago. Since then he has resided in the South Jersey area. The deceased was retired, his last place of employment being Bridgeton Hospital, where he worked as an orderly.

He is survived by: his wife, Mary E. Morris; one stepson, Harvey Bordley of Millville; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Misses Sarah and Eliza Morris, both of Philadelphia; two brothers, John of Cedarville and Lawrence of Philadelphia and a host of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Lively Funeral Home, 656 East Commerce Street, with interment in Fordville Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening between 7 and 9.
