Retice B. Cutshall, 88, of the DeBusk community, passed away Monday morning at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.

She was a longtime member of Peoples Tabernacle Church.

Her wonderful attitude and her faith in the Lord sustained her during the many years of living alone.

Miss Cutshall was born Nov. 18, 1923, to the late Jess and Lula Johnson Cutshall. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters: Ivan Cutshall, Everette Cutshall, Arnold Lee Cutshall, Kate Aldridge, Lucille Russell, Nina Kay Helton, and Hazel Cutshall.

Survivors include her sister: Zelma Morrison; four special nieces: Mary Ruth Carter, Barbara J. Hood, Brenda Key, and Janice Sensabaugh; a special nephew: Doyle Morrison; and other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Amos Penley officiating.

Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
