Mrs. Cecil Berry
Cecil Florence Waggoner Berry was born to Cloyd and Etta Jane (Salmon) Waggoner on July 24, 1895 and passed away Saturday evening Jan. 24, 1959, at the Good Samaritan Village in St. Francis, Kanss at the age of 63 years and 6 months.

She was united in marriage to Alvin R. Berry on September 3, 1919 at Ragon, Nebraska. On March 1, 1920, they moved to a farm south of McDonald where they made their home until her husband's passing in 1942.

To the union were born two children; Mary Etta, who preceded her in death on May 26, 1935 at the age of 13 years, and Melvin Richard of St. Francis, Kansas.

Cecil was a faithful and active worker in the Church of God until October, 1957 when she fell and broke her left shoulder. After spending some time in the Rawlins County Hospital in Atwood, Kansas she was taken to the Good Samaritan in St Francis until falling and breaking her left hip. She was then moved to Rawlins County Hospital, until recovered enough to return to St. Francis where she gradually kept failing and on January 23, 1959 she suffered a heart attack. Her parents and 3 brothers, John, Carl, and Marshall Waggoner also preceded her in death.

Besides her son Melvin, his wife and 2 grandchildren, she leaves to mourn her passing:3 sisters, Mrs. Gladys Beeson, Denver, Colorado; Mrs. Helen Marrs, Glencoe, Oklahoma and Mrs. Marie Divine of Morrison, Oklahoma; 3 brothers have also preceded her in death, John, Carl and Marshall Waggoner, and many other relatives and a host of friends.
