Jennie Mae Standard was the daughter of Rufus Fielding Standard and Mary Townsend. On March 17, 1923, she married Joshua Lowery. They had four children: Loyce Lowery, born in 1925; James Lowery born in 1929; Louise Lowery born in 1931; and Marie Lowery born in 1936. Joshua died in 1941, leaving Jennie a widow at the age of 43. She died in 1983 at the age of 85 years.
