Mr. Corbett died August 15, 2007. Born July 2, 1928, in Wagener, S. C., he was a son of the late Leighton Elvin and Annis Lucas Corbett.
He had retired as a firefighter from the Columbia Fire Department after 25 years and was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church.
Mr. Corbett was preceded in death by a sister, Jacqueline "Jackie" Gleaton.
