After retiring from the Navy in 1952, Mr. Cook worked at the Bremerton Naval Shipyard, then worked as a driver for the Peninsula School District with a perfect driving record for 15 years.
Surviving are: wife, Florine, Arlington; daughters, Virginia Kenyon and Candy Olson, Tacoma, Claudia Childress, Sommerville, South Carolina; son Clifford Cook, Tacoma; sisters, Ruth Cater and Joy Christen Johnson, Tacoma; brothers, Vernon, Soap Lake, Frederick, Tacoma; 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 10 at Kingdom Hall, South 23rd and Cushman. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
