Obituary of Julius D. Kirkpatrick in the Ontario Biography Book #II, page 141: Man Who Started First Retail Dairy Summoned. Funeral services for Julius D. Kirkpatrick former Ontario resident, will be held at 2:30 pm. Wednesday January 30, at Casa Grande, Arizona. Mr. Kirkpatrick was born October 23, 1890 in Clay, Iowa, and came to Ontario with his parents, Jacob D. and Anna Kirkpatrick when he was only a few months old. He started the first retail dairy in the Ontario district on South Euclid avenue. He had been a resident of Arizona since 1929. He is survived by his wife, Margaret, of Casa Grande; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Sanborn of Three Rivers, Calif., and Mrs. Florence Nicholson of Seattle, Wash. He is also survived by a son Denzil V. Kirkpatrick of Barstow, and four daughters, Elizabeth Southworth, Pomona; Ruth Perkins and Mary Loise Boruck, of Oakland, and Doris Brimmer, of Ontario. There are also nine grandchildren and four nieces. Interment will be in Casa Grande cemetery.

Julius was married first to Lavina Rachel Wymore 12 Dec 1912.

Together they had 5 children; Elizabeth Ann, Lavina Ruth, Clara Doris, Denvil Victor, Mary Louise. They divorced July 24, 1928 in California.
He married again to Marie Unknown Last.
