Rosebud Virginia Brown of Brownsburg died June 18 (2002) at Brownsburg Health Care. She was 79. Born Feb. 3, 1923 in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late N. C. and Fern (Whorley) Brown. Miss Brown was a 1945 graduate of Depauw University in Greencastle and had worked in the field of education for several years. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority.
Survivors include a brother, John Brown, of Lizton and a sister, Winifred Young, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.
Services will be at 10 a.m. June 28 at the Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg with Rebecca Mincieli officiating. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
