Obituary:

James Skinner Passes Away Here Monday

James Skinner, 30-year-old Glenrock resident, passed away at his home here Monday morning at 8:10. Jim had been in failing health for some time but previous to his sudden demise had felt considerably improved.

Funeral services will be held at the Baptist church Thursday afternoon at two o'clock. Arrangements are under the direction of Kennaugh and Amapoker.

James Monroe Skinner was born in Glenrock October 4, 1911, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Skinner. He grew to manhood here and was employed by the Continental Oil Co. in the capacity of pipe-fitter.

In addition to his wife and two children, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Rose Skinner, one sister and two brothers. His father preceded him in death December 22, 1940.

According to the 1940 Federal census for Glenrock, James was married to Mildred, who was born about 1918 in South Dakota.
