Eunice married Joshua Pettingill, 30 Mar 1815, in Williamstown, VT. They had 11 children, leaving many descendants:

-Harriet Martin Pettengill (1816-1897)
-Lewis Pettengill (1817-1895)
-Nancy Pettengill (1819-1901)
-Lucinda Pettengill (1821-1914)
-Candace Pettengill (1823-1903)
-Aaron Martin Pettengill (1825-1907)

-Clark Pettengill (1832-1832)
-Diana Pettengill (1833-1868)

Eunice was a descendant of Susanna (North) Martin, (3rd great granddaughter)who was accused of witchcraft by several residents of Salem Village. She was arrested and a trial ensued. She was found guilty and hung, 19 Jul 1692, at the age of 69, along with four other women.
