Harry married Rosa Belle "Rosie" Fitz in 1888 in Thurmont, MD. They had 5 known children:

Harry was raised in Thurmont, MD, where he was married and had his children, working as a laborer and as a house painter. Shortly before 1910 the family moved to Miami, OH and were found living in West Carrollton City, OH in 1930. Most of the family then moved on to Dayton, OH. Despite the fact that Harry and Rosie both died in Ohio, they were burried in their home town of Thurmont, MD.
