Audrey Adams was born on April 2, 1926 to Charles and Mary (Lorenzen) Petersen in Neligh, Nebraska. Audrey passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013 at Antelope Memorial Hospital in Neligh.
She attended rural country grade school at Dist #15 and then Graduated from Neligh High School in 1943. After graduating she was united in Marriage to Gerald Adams on June 5, 1946 at the Methodist Church in Neligh, NE. The couple made their home and farmed Northeast of Neligh. To this marriage they had two sons, Tedd and Lynn. She worked for many years at Educational Service Unit #8 in Neligh. In September, 1999 Gerald passed away. She continued to live on the family farm homestead where she was born until she passed away. She loved keeping house and being a perfectionist. She was a member of the Neligh United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.
She is survived by her two sons, Tedd Adams of Neligh, NE and Lynn and wife Jimmie Ruth Adams of Orlando, FL. Sister, Aubyn Ofe of Chadron, NE.
Preceded in death by parents and husband, Gerald E. Adams.
