Chester Lee the youngest son of Jackson and Margaret Lee deceased passed away at his home east of our city Thursday morning June 29, 1916 after an illness of several months duration.
The deceased was born at Shullsburg June 4, 1889 where he lived until 1901 when he moved with his parents to Darlington, remaining here until he had grown to manhood. He afterwards moved back to Shullsburg and has spent the last few years in or near our city. A little over a years ago he with his brother Clarence and two sisters Nellie and Mayme moved to a farm near her and engaged in farming.
Besides the brother and sisters in his home he leaves three other sisters, Daisey, Jennie and Alice also a stepmother and many relatives and friends.
The funeral services were conducted from the home Saturday afternoon and were largely attended, the Rev. Geo. B. Haskell officiating. The interment was in the beautiful Evergreen cemetery of this city.
