Pecatonica- Raymond B. Deppe of Pecatonica, an employee of Dean Foods Co. in Pecatonica and Shullsburg, Wis., for many years, was dead on arrival Saturday morning after an apparent heart attack. He was a graduate of Shullsburg High School and attended Rock Valley College and Rockford College. He was a member of Pecatonica United Methodist Church, Shullsburg and Pecatonica chapters of Order of Eastern Star and Amicitia Lodge, AF&AM of Shullsburg.

Born July 16, 1927, in Shullsburg, he was the son of William F. and Sarah (Black) Deppe. He married Constance Houren Sept. 14, 1897, in Shullsburg.

Surviving are his widow; four sons, Richard, Gregory, James and Edward, and three daughters, Carrie, Sara, and Elizabeth, all at home; his mother of Scales Mound; two brothers, his twin, Charles of Shullsburg, and James Ernest of Scales Mound. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers.

Funeral service will be at 2 pm Tuesday in Centenary United Methodist Church, Shullsburg. The Rev. James Harrington, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Shullsburg.
