Ruby Bagby Smith, 79, of Springfield, died Friday Jan. 11, 2013 at Golden Living Center.
Smith was born May 17, 1933, in Logan County to the late Raymond and Deanie Gilliam Bagby, Sr.
She was a homemaker and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Smith loved cooking, and she was a hard-working lady that lived a simple life and loved her family dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, T.G. "Boke" smith and by her sister Shirley Johnson.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, Jan. 14, in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Rev. Shannon Benefiel and Dr. Tommy Crunk officiating.
Interment followed in the Robertson County Memorial Gardens.
