"James L. Drummond, 55, Robinson farmer, died at his home Thursday, November 23 following an extended illness.
"Born in Clark County, April 11, 1924, the son of Lawrence and Gertrude Fuller Drummond. He is survived by his mother, his wife Nina Ruth Garrard Drummond, whom he married in 1946, a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Jan Drummond, Palestine, and two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Marsha Kaye) Smith, Hillsboro, and Mrs. Mike (Rita Ann) Rich, Robinson. Also surviving are a sister, Elsie Dehl, West Union, a brother, Lloyd Drummond, Newton, Texas, and two grandchildren, Roger Lee Smith, and Kelly Jo Rich.
"Mr. Drummond was a member of Prairie United Methodist Church.
"Funeral services were conducted Sunday, November 25 at 1 p.m. at the Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, with Rev. Jeffrey Jahn officiating. Interment was in Prairie Cemetery."
