Louise Daves Parks, 85, of Fayetteville, died Friday (Dec. 18, 1998) at Donalson Care Center. A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Roy Daves and Mary Etta Thomas Daves. She was a retired accountant with Atlanta Crown Distributing and a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Parks was preceded in death by her husband, James Parks. Survivors include on nephew, John Wayne Davies, of Florida; three cousins, Jack Daves of the Howell community, and Jean Gowan and Jane Chapman, both of Fayetteville. Funeral services were conducted Monday at Higgins Funeral Home with the Revs. Don Thomas and Richard Hughes officiating. Burial followed in Riverview Cemetery. Higgins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
