LEBANON, Maine - James (Jim) H. Cole, age 65 of Lebanon, died on Wednesday, January 9th, 2013, at home.

He was born in Lebanon on June 26, 1947, to Bernice and Vaun R. Cole Jr. and attended local schools.

He served his country in the United States Army through the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged after his service. Jim worked in the construction field and loved the outdoors. He loved snowmobiling, ATV's and playing arcade games with his family. Jim also loved auto racing.

He was predeceased by his mother Bernice and father Vaun R. Cole, Jr., and half brother, Carlton Jenness, Jr.

Surviving are a brother, Jack Cole and his wife Karen of Lebanon, his stepmother, Geraldine Cole of Sanford, three nephews, Jack Cole and his wife LeeAnn of Shapleigh, Jason Cole and his wife Samantha of Lebanon and Jamie Cole and his wife Jennifer of Shapleigh.

A family graveside service will be held in the spring at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Springvale.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.
