Mr Gilbert C Booze, 67, died at his home near Springwood, Saturday afternoon.
He is survived by five sons and five daughters.
Funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon with interment in Mill Creek cemetery.
(November 19, 1942–Mr Gilbert C Booze died at his home November 7 after a week's illness. His illness was not thought serious and his death came as a shock to his family. Though he suffered much he never complained. He enjoyed life and was always glad to have his children and friends visit him. He seemed ready and not afraid to go.
Rev D H Murray, of Buchanan his pastor, conducted the funeral service asisted by Rev R E Henry of Covington.
Mr Booze was a faithful member of Copp's Baptist church for 44 years. Funeral services were held from the home Monday afternoon, November 8, with interment in Mill Creek cemetery.
He is survived by the following children: Mrs Neal Craft, Mrs H M Brewbaker, Mrs Malcolm Cronise, Mrs Leslie Booze, Mrs Clay Perry and Cecil, Roy, Harold, Norman, and Joe Booze; a brother, Frank Booze, and three sisters, Mrs Belle Thrasher, Mrs Wesley Hayslette, and Mrs Banfert.)
