Leslie E. Miller was born to Clarence E. and Julia Miller on July 14, 1916 in Piedmont, OK. He died October 8, 2001 at St. Ann's Nursing Home. Leslie grew up and attended school in Piedmont, OK. His entire life was spent farming in the Piedmont, El Reno and Calumet area. In the last years of his life when he wasn't physically able, farming remained in his heart and in his mind. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters. Leslie is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary, two sons John, his wife Paula, Dale, and one daughter Barbara Little and husband Mike, one sister, Eileen Bell, seven grandchildren; Tiffany Cory husband Dan, Faith Dymek husband Mark, Charity Howarth husband Jack, John Miller, Jr., Hope Dymek husband Joel, Lori Parks husband Gary, and Matt Little. Six great-grandchildren; Taylor Howarth, Lantz Parks, Ryanne Dymek, Logan Parks, Carson and Cooper Cory and numerous neices and nephews. Spending time with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought great joy to his life. We would like to thank the entire staff of St. Ann's for their love and concern for him and our family. Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice and Sacred Heart Catholic School in El Reno. Prayer Service will be held Thursday, October 11th at Chapel Hill Funeral Home at 7 p.m. and Funeral Mass, Sacred Heart Catholic Church in El Reno, at 10 o'clock Fri., Oct. 12th, interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
