A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 20 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Clyde Akers. Burial will follow at No Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of the daughter on Wafford Circle, Lexington
Mrs. Forrest was born August 22, 1932 in Davidson County to Cliff Smith and Gladys McCarn Smith. She had worked at Mallory Battery Company and was married to J. W. Forrest who died December 7, 2004.
She is survived by a daughter Jill Comer and husband Eddie of Lexington; a son, Jeff Forrest and wife Desiree of Lexington; 4 grandchildren, Deanne Angell, Mandy Brady, Brandy Byerly and Shane Forrest all of Lexington and 5 great grandchildren.
