Mrs. Ralph (Irene) Paff, age 80, formerly of 925 High St., Madison, died on Sunday, January 28, 1979, at the Stoughton Hospital. She was a Housing Inspector for the University of Wisconsin, until her retirement several years ago. She was born on September 19, 1897, at Pembine, WI. The former Irene Meharg, she was married in 1923 to Ralph Paff, who was a long time employee of the Wisconsin State Department of Revenue, and he preceded her in death in 1964. She was formerly a member of St. James Catholic Church, Madison, and was presently a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Stoughton. Mrs. Paff had resided in Stoughton for the past four years. Survivors are three daughters, Patricia of Madison, Mrs. Audrey Griffiths of Winnetka, Illinois, Mrs. Shirley Crinion of Eau Claire, WI; five grandchildren; and a brother, William Meharg of Antigo, WI. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 30, at 10 a.m. in St. Ann's Catholic Church Chapel, Stoughton. Reverend George Hastrich will officiate and burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau, WI. Friends may call at the Funeral Home, after 9 a.m. on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Nazareth Home, Stoughton. Olson-Holzhuter Funeral Home, Stoughton.
