Stacyville, Feb. 21 – Word was received here yesterday noon of the sudden death of Mrs. Lawrence Simbric of Waterloo, following a stroke. Mrs. William Wolf had visited her in Waterloo the day before and had left her apparently in good health.
She was born March 12, 1893, in Stacyville. She was educated in the public schools. For some years she worked in Waterloo where she was married January 14, 1930 to Lawrence Simbric, little more than five weeks before her death.
Beside her husband she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Rose Shotliff, Stacyville, two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Ralph Kindschuh, Osage; Mrs. William Wolf and Robert Shotliff, Stacyville.
Funeral arrangements have not been made ant it is not known whether the body will be brought back here for burial.
