Mrs. Monroe was born at Mansfield, Texas November 18, 1880, an died at the home of M. A. Sewell in Wellington, Texas June 18, 1922.

She was married to G. E. Monroe in 1910, and to this union two children were born; a girl and a boy.

They lost the little girl in 1919 and she lost her husband in 1920.

She was converted at the age of thirty and joined the Methodist church at the same time. She has four brothers and four sisters and a sweet little boy besides a number of other relatives and a host of friends to mourn her death.

Mrs. Monroe was sick some three months and underwent two operations. She was so patient in her suffering never murmeririg or complaining, but in spite of all the doctors and loved ones could do she had to go. The call from above has to be answered by one and all and she was ready and willing to go: and now she is at rest where no more sorrow and sickness can reach her. And to her sorrowing family weep not as those who have no hope for we are assured that we shall meet again where there will be no more parting, can we say more, the answering echo rejoice and be glad for the spirit for whom you mourn and sorrow today has returned unto the joys of the Lord.

The funeral service was held at the home of M. A. Sewell by Rev. R. N. Huckabee, and the remains was laid to rest in the Memphis Cemetery by the side of her husband and baby to await the final call.
