Funeral Services for Teenie Garsee, 89, of Moscow will be held Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.in the First Assembly of God Church in Corrigan with Pastor Phil Corbett officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Corrigan. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at Corrigan Funeral Home.
Teenie was born April 14, 1931 in Rosepine, La to the late Carroll and Mary (Smith) Scarborough. She went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 4, 2021 in Moscow, Texas surrounded by her loved ones, 10 days shy of her 90th birthday.
Teenie attended grade school in Rosepine and graduated in 1948. She met the love of her life, Bill Garsee in San Augustine. The two fell in love and married on October 11, 1948 in San Augustine. Bill and Teenie moved from San Augustine to Moscow in 1953, where they raised their children. They were married 36 years before Bill's death in 1984.

Teenie loved the Lord with all her heart and was a faithful member of the First Assembly of God Church in Corrigan. She was employed by Citizens State Bank in Corrigan as teller for many years. Before working at the bank, she worked for Dr. Bryan in Camden and Corrigan for several years as his office nurse.
Teenie is survived by two daughters, Brenda Williams and husband Ron; and Vicki Pate and husband Skipper; son, Billy Garsee and wife Priscilla; grandchildren, Ryan Burris and wife Sandy, Carmen Barnes and husband Travis, April Clement and husband BJ, Lynsey Spain and husband Matt, Heath Harrison, Matt Garsee, Chris Garsee and wife Brandi; and Jason Garsee and wife Shanna; step grandsons, Ryan and Blake Williams; great grandchildren, Molly and Morgan Rayborn, Katy and Carrie Burris, Easton Clement, Unborn Baby Boy Clement, Landry Barnes, Carter and Kaitlyn Williams, Ryan, Zach, Cameron, BJ, Sierra, Alyssa, and Katie Garsee; brother, Ruble Scarborough and wife Phyllis; sisters, Tressie Cook and husband Grady and Doretha Bond and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Bill, both parents and two brothers, Melton and Welton Scarborough; brother-in-law, Kenneth Bond; sisters-in-laws, Alma Lou Scarborough and Frankie Scarborough and special brother-in-law, Jessie (Bully) Garsee.
Pallbearers: Edgar Harris, Larry Burris, Bit Vance, Morgan Rayborn, Ryan Burris, and Brandon Garsee.
