McKissack- Mr. James Curtis McKissack age 81 of Woodland Drive Brewton, Alabama passed away Wednesday January 16, 2012 in an Evergreen, Alabama Nursing Facility after a brief illness. He was a native of Phoenix City, Alabama, He was raised in the Bradley Community Bradley, Alabama, A former resident of Bay Minette, Alabama, before moving to Brewton, Alabama in 1980. Mr. McKissack attended Shady Grove Holiness Church, A Graduate of W.S. Neal High School, A U.S Airforce Veteran, Former President and Vice President of the Atmore Rotary Club, and He played Piano and sang base with the McKissacks Gospel Singing Group.

Survivors: (2) Sons- Dr. Randy McKissack of Navarre, Florida Steve McKissack of Birmingham, Alabama (1) Daughter- Angie (John) Lang of Brewton, Alabama (3) Brothers- Lamar (Agnes) McKissack of Pensacola, Florida Bobby McKissack of Bradley, Alabama Billy (Carolyn) McKissack of Pensacola, Florida (2) Sisters- Geraldine Reilly of Eufaula, Alabama Jane (J.W.) Visitation will be held Saturday January 19, 2013 from 12until 2:00 P.M. at WILLIAMS MEMORIAL CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME BREWTON, ALABAMA.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday January 19, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at WILLIAMS MEMORIAL CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Jack Fitts and Speaker Angie T. Lang officiating. Interment will follow in Bradley Cemetery Brewton, Alabama with WILLIAMS MEMORIAL CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME OF BREWTON, ALABAMA DIRECTING.
