Mr. Robert Eli Creech, Sr., age 80, of 2510 Sanders Road died Monday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Thursday at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Garner. Officiating will be Rev. John Creech and Rev. Leonard Rex. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Creech was born January 24, 1932 in Duplin County to the late Josh and Gladys Guy Creech and was preceded in death by brothers, Oscar Creech, Billy Creech, and James Creech. He retired after 21 years of service as a bus driver with Trailways. Mr. Creech served in the U. S. Army during the Korean conflict and was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Surviving include his wife of 52 years, Oneita Johnson Creech; Children & Spouses, Phyllis & Jerry Sorrell of Garner, Bobby Creech of Benson, and Danny & Amy Creech of Benson; Sister, Daisy Rowland of Augusta, GA; Brothers, Ed "Mickey" Creech of Mississippi and Rev. John Creech of Georgia; and Grandchildren, Kaylee Creech, Dawson Creech, Gracie Creech, and Josh Creech. The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Wednesday. Online condolences may be
