OBITUARY - Mrs. Vriginia Maysey, 65, died at her home in Gulfport, Mississippi, on Thursday, August 21, 1978.
She was born on June 22, 1913 in McQuady, she was a former resident of Cloverport. Her parents were the late Percy Shrewsbury and Daisy Bell Shrewsbury. A member of the Cloverport Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her husband, Haskel Maysey. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Earl (Linda) Cuevas of Gulfport; 5 sisters, Mrs. Janesetta Powers, Mrs. Haskel Powers, Mrs. Mary Basham and Mrs. Mildred Jones all of Cloverport and Mrs Edna Claycomb of Louisville; one brother, GW Shrewsbury of McQuady.
The funeral service was held at 2 pm on Monday at the Cloverport Baptist Church with burial in the Cloverport Cemetery. Harry L. Dhonau Funeral Home, Cloverport was in charge of arrangements.
