Adán is survived by his son, Brien Lovato and his wife, Maida, six brothers and sisters, four grandchildren whom he cherished, Brandon, Adam, Joshua and Jerome, along with many friends and family.
Adán served his country in the Korean War and was one of the surveyor who mapped out the four corners area.
Adán was quick to share a story and was a wealth of knowledge.

Mass will be held at St. Terese Catholic Church on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. on January 17, 2013 at Santa Fé National Cemetery in Santa Fé, NM. Celebration of Adán's Life will be held at the Sandoval County Sheriff Posse Grounds in Bernalillo, NM on Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
