Lawrence H. Bombard, 68, of Button Road, Cicero, died Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Malone, Mr. Bombard lived in the Cicero area most of his life. He served in the Army during World War II and later owned and managed Bombard Print Shop. He also had been employed as a truck driver at General Motors Co.
Mr. Bombard was a member of Cicero Businessmen's League and past president of Sacred Heart Holy Name Society.
Surviving are his wife, the former Lucille Ruffing; a daughter, Ruth Gillette of Clay; four sons, Robert Sr. and John, both of North Syracuse, William and James, both of Cicero; two sisters, Yvonne Eames and Marion Magee, both of Central Square; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be 9 a.m. Wednesday at Sears-Middleton Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Burial will be in St. Mary's Resurrection Mausoleum, DeWitt
