Edna Pauline Parker, age 88 years of Peebles, Ohio died Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center. She was born August 5, 1924, the daughter of the late Charles and Rebecca (Collier) Sizemore in Letcher County, Kentucky.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Parker; three daughters, Judith Ann Stephenson, Wanda K. Lawwill and Rhilda J. Taylor.

Survivors include five daughters, Venus Blanton of Wheelersburg, Rebecca Blanton of West Union, Marcella (Ralph) Parker of Greenfield, Penny (Larry) Taylor of Sciotoville, and Violet (David) Robinson of Peebles; two sons, James (Bernice) Parker of Blue Creek, David (Dee) Parker of Blue Creek; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren; one sister, Irene Houser of Indiana; and one brother, Henry (Betty) Sizemore of Lucasville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Sunshine Ridge Church under the direction of the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home with Vernon Shively officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 noon to 1 p.m. the day of the service at the church.Burial will follow at the Sunshine Ridge Cemetery.
