Carl Robert "Woody" Woodsmall, 70, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, recently of Las Vegas, Nev., died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005 near Lake Mead, Nev.

Mr. Woodsmall was born June 15, 1935, the son of J. Clarence and Florence Avis Trueblood Woodsmall. He was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. He served in the United States Air Force and was an Airman 1st Class.
Survivors include a daughter, Sondra E. Woodsmall; a granddaughter; a sister, Betty and her husband Ralph Mathews of Mt. Pleasant; a brother, Wendell "Barney" and his wife Alice Woodsmall of Mt. Pleasant; a brother-in-law, Raymond Pickard of Mt. Pleasant.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Remona.
