Ms. Woodard died peacefully Friday, January 4, 2013 at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. Born in Mauldin, SC her parents were James McClure and Lula Taylor Hendrix. Nannie resided at Southland Health and Rehabilitation, Peachtree City, GA and was previously a resident of Smyrna, GA for 51 years. She was a loving and devoted mother to her three daughters. Nannie was a homemaker with excellent seamstress and cooking skills. She later began a career at Rich's Lenox Square when it first opened. Nannie so delighted in working closely with her customers and was highly recognized by Mr. Rich for her outstanding sales, service and loyalty. Ms. Woodard was preceded in death by her daughter Nancy Caroline, her parents and her siblings Hettie Sweat, Ellen Brown, Ralph Hendrix, Evelyn Moulton, Lindle Forrester and Doris Richardson. She is survived by her daughter Harriett Ferguson (C.H.) of Newnan, GA and Elizabeth Morris (Jerry) of Tallahassee, FL, granddaughters Nancy Hilliard (John), Laura Murrer, Kathy Derrick (Marvin) and Rebecca Tarver (Josh), great-grandchildren Marie, Brigitte, Cody, Talor, Caleb, Frances and Matthew. Surviving siblings are Lee Hendrix (Mary), Peg Thomason (Jimmy) and Jimmy Hendrix, many nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
