Funeral services for Walter Lee Eubanks, 87, were held on February 9, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. at Sigler Funreal Home. Interment followed in Holmes Baptist Church Cemetery.

Born in Lucedale, he died on February 6, 2005. He was a welder at Ingalls Shipbuilding, a World War II Army veteran, and a member of Bexley Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ulhma Alice Eubanks, a son, Walter Lee Eubanks, Jr. and his parents, Charles H. and Dora Ann (Mizell) Eubanks.

He is survived by two daughters, Annette Parker of Lucedale, and Pennye (Toby) Brannon of Lucedale, a son, Larry "Hank" Eubanks of Lucedale, two sisters, Dora Jane Tuck (should be Tucker), Bernice (Wesley) Howard, 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
