E. S. MORENO DIES IN TEXAS

PEARSALL, Tex-- Emmett S. Moreno, 77, of Route 3, Mt. Pleasant, died Friday in Pearsall, Texas after a brief illness. The Morenos were in Texas for the winter.

Mr. Moreno was born in Pearsall on March 3, 1890. He was a member of the Winn Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Stinson Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Moreno is survived by his wife, Elona; five sons, Ab Moreno, a missionary in Colombia, South America, Santiago (Jim) Moreno
of Mt. Pleasant, George and Dan Moreno of Owosso and Martin of Montrose; two daughters, Mrs. Dean (Rosa) Miller of Midland and Mrs. Michael (Beatriz) D'Aquila of Seattle, Wash.

Also surviving are two brothers, Daniel Moreno of Shepherd and Albert Moreno of Mt. Pleasant, 21 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
