Mrs. Anna (Meyer) Heiniger daughter of Conrad and Verona Gerber Meyer, was born September 9, 1871 at Rittman, Ohio and passed away September 4, 1956 at her home in Sabetha, Kansas.She was united in marriage to Gottfried Heiniger March 1, 1898. This union of 58 years was broken less than three months ago when her husband preceded her in death, June 13,.

She was a faithful member of the Christian Apostolic church, a kind and loving wife and mother. She with her husband gave a home and care to two young nieces (daughters of Emil Meyer) now Anna Sponseller of Iola, Kansas and Ella Hartman of Topeka.

She leaves to mourn her loss two sons, Walter Heiniger, Oneida and William Heiniger, Seneca; one daughter, Louise Gartner, Sabetha; 13 grandchildren and 2_ great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Salome Streit, Sabehta; one brother, Joel C. Meyer, Sabetha; other relatives and friends. A son and a daughter are deceased.

Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 o'clock p.m. at the Sabetha Apostolic church. Burial was in the Sabetha cemetery.

Pallbearers were Lester Streit, Raymond Streit, Lester Meyer, John Meyer, Louis Meyer and Walter Meyer, all nephews.
