Daniel Edward Riggleman, 84, of Broadway, VA died January 10, 2013 at Emeritus at Harrisonburg.

He was born May 11, 1928 in Rockingham County, and was the son of the late Simon P. and Martha Bazzle Riggleman.

He worked at Rockingham Poultry for 41 years before retiring. He was a member of Fairview Church of the Brethren near Endless Caverns. He was also a member of Harrisonburg Moose Lodge, and Broadway-Timberville Senior Citizens.

On August 15, 1947 he married the former Blanche Brady, who survives.

Also surviving are two brothers, Donald Riggleman of Broadway; Durel Riggleman of Laurel, MD; a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Edward Allen Riggleman; his sister, Rachel Smith; six brothers, Johnnie, Leon, Simon, Jesse, Bobby Riggleman, and Allen Bazzle.

Rev. Lewis Armentrout will conduct a funeral service 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Fairview Church of the Brethren. Burial will be in the Fairview Church of the Brethren cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
