He was a graduate of Brunswick High School Class of 1933, served with the U.S. Army in World War II, was a member of the First Baptist Church in Brunswick and Loyal Order of the Moose, Frederick.
Following graduation, he worked for the railroad, interrupted by military service, returned to the railroad and became co-owner of A&H Lumber Co., Brunswick, which was dissolved in the early 960s, and retired from the United Insurance Company of America in 1978, after more than 15 years of service.
Mr. Anderson is survived by one sister, Mrs. Evelyn Anderson Gordon, Hagerstown; one brother, Albert Lee Anderson, Brunswick; an a number of nieces and nephews.
Services were held at the John T. Williams Funeral Home; Brunswick; interment was in Park Heights Cemetery, Brunswick.
