RICHARD LEE ANDERSON, well-known general contractor of Brunswick, died Saturday morning at 12:30 o'clock of a heart attack, aged 60 years. Mr. Anderson was about his work as usual on Friday and was stricken after retiring. A son of the late John and Louise Phillips Anderson he was a lifelong resident of Brunswick. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brunswick, was a superintendent of the Sunday School, and a deacon and secretary of the church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Florence Grove Anderson; three sons, Howard William and Albert Lee Anderson, Brunswick; Harold F. Anderson, U.S. Army; and one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Gordon, Hagerstown; and four brothers, Jerry Anderson, Petersville; Charles C. Anderson, Brunswick; James William Anderson, Frederick and Harry E. Anderson, Rosemont.

Funeral services were held at the home of his son, Albert, 2 West C Street, Brunswick; interment was in Park Heights Cemetery; arrangements were by C.H. Feete and Bro., funeral directors.
