M. Kathryn Bard Gehr, 91, of Ephrata Manor, Ephrata, died there Monday
afternoon following a brief illness.
A homemaker, Mrs. Gehr was a member of Bergstrasse Lutheran Church, Ephrata Township, where she was a former Sunday school teacher and former member of the Lutheran Church Women. She was an avid seamstress.
Born in Hinkletown, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Susanna Fasnacht Bard. She was the wife of the late Harry M. Gehr.
Surviving are a son, John H., husband of Beth E. Gehr of New Holland; a daughter, Helen Ann, wife of Jay M. Burkhart of Avondale; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mabel Martin of Ephrata.
