Janice F. Ralfs, 76, of Stockton, died Sunday, January 6, 2013, at Bettendorf Health Care Center in Bettendorf.

Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 9, at Bentley Funeral Home in Durant.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 10, at Bentley Funeral Home in Durant. Burial will be in the Durant Cemetery, Durant, Iowa.

Janice Faye Gilbert was born March 13, 1936, in Scott County, the daughter of Emil and Bernice (Bailey) Gilbert. She married Alan Verne Ralfs on March 21, 1953, in Davenport. Together they farmed near Stockton. She also employed at Menard's in Davenport, until she retired in 2001. She previously managed Nickerson Farms Restaurant in Stockton. She enjoyed playing bingo, ceramics and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Alan of Stockton; one daughter, Cindy Denklau of Walcott; one son, Richard Ralfs of Stockton; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Marlene (Robert) Westphal of Davenport and Donna (Arthur) Ramirez of Wilton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Brian Ralfs, and one brother, Kenneth Gilbert.
