Lulu is one of four children of Charles Homer Fields and Maude (Burkett) Fields. After her father's death in 1908, her mother remarries to Abe McKinney.

Lulu first marries William H. 'Pretty Bill' Back in April 1920 in Yavapai County, AZ. They divorce before the 1930 census. They have no children.

Circa 1930 Lulu marries Ike Underwood. Date and place of their marriage has yet to be identified.

According to cemetery records, Lulu was buried 6-7-1961. Two Find-A-Grave volunteers(Ladybug & Amy Griffin) visited the cemetery. Both reported that her marker is no longer readable.
