Mr. Otis Eugene Rich age 79 of Mauney Rd. Blairsville passed away on Saturday Jan 5, 2013 in the Union General Hospital following a brief illness.
Mr. Rich was born on May 5, 1933 in Union County, the son of the late Garnett Rich and the late Edith Hughes Rich.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Union County. Eugene was a veteran of the US Army of the Korean and Vietnam Wars with over twenty years of Military service.
His favorite passions were farming and cattle. He looked forward going to the cattle sale. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather.
He was preceded in death by a son, Justin Larue Rich in 2010. Mr. Rich was a member of Bunker Hill Baptist Church.
