Glenn F. Mahon, 80, of St. Elmo, died at 10:10 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Effingham.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Assembly of God Church in St. Elmo. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in St. Elmo. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at C&A Pagel Funeral Home in St. Elmo and one hour before services on Thursday at the church. Memorials: Assembly of God Church in St. Elmo, American Heart Association or donor's choice.
Mr. Mahon was born on March 20, 1932, in St. Elmo, the son of Frank W. and Dorothy M. McMillan Mahon. He married Iris M. Koeberlein on Dec. 13, 1958, at Assembly of God Church in St. Elmo.
He is survived by his wife; and daughter, Kathy and her husband Mike Crockett of Farina.
