Mrs. Pauline Waddles, age 77, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 in Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.
She was born September 24, 1934 in Livingston, Kentucky to the late James Asa and Ruby Lee Mink. After graduating from Livingston High School, she worked for Livingston Motors and Dr. R.G. Webb for eleven years. Pauline married Henry F. Cummins October 1, 1955 who died in February 1988. She began working for Parker Seal Co. at Berea and later moved to Lexington to work for Parker Seal Co. as a sales correspondent for 25 years. Upon retirement she moved to Somerset, Kentucky and married Paul Waddles on March 31, 1990. Pauline was a member of Livingston Pentecostal Church from her youth until her death.
Pauline is survived by: her husband, Paul Waddles; two step-children: Paula (Steve) Davis and Robert (Jennifer) Waddles, five step-grandchildren: Hillary (Cody) Shepherd, Zachary (Sydney) Davis, Hayley Davis, Zebediah Davis, and Hannah Davis; four sisters-in-law: Joyce Mink, Vonie Mink, Nell Boyd, and Lorraine Waddles; brother in law: Robert Thacker; former brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Ina Cummins, Garlan (Rachel) Cummins, Money Ed Cummins, Dee James Cummins, Louise (Bill) Saylor, Ruby (Joe) Lubarsky, Elsie Taylor, and Lula Strahm; and four nieces and nephews: Glenn (Jennifer) Mink, Trevor (Susanne) Mink, Tracey (Othel) Turpin, and Cathy Crank.
Pauline was preceded in death by: her first husband, Henry Cummins; her parents: James Asa and Ruby Lee Mink; three brothers: Robert Jerry Mink, James William (Barbara) Mink, and Donnie Ray Mink.
Funeral services will be conducted at Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals in Brodhead, Kentucky by Reverend Darrell Ragan and Reverend Jim Miller on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 11 AM. Burial will follow in the Bales Cemetery in Livingston, Kentucky.
Visitation will be at Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals from 5-8 PM on Friday, July 27, 2012 and from 9 -11 AM on Saturday, July 28, 2012.
Casket bearers will be: Trevor Mink, Othel Turpin, Robert Waddles, Zachary Davis, Steve Davis, and Cody Shepherd.
