She married John Story. They had one son, Sylvester B.born in MO in 1887.

Lucy's second marriage was to John Harvey McKibben in Missouri City, Fort Bend Co, TX in 1891. His first marriage was to Mary Ann Farley

John died in Commerce, OK on Nov. 1, 1918.

On June 26, 1900, John H., age 53, & Lucy P., age 30, lived in Galena, Jasper Co, MO where he was a zinc miner. They had been married 9 years. Mary had given birth to five children; four were still living.

John's children were Norman, age 19; John W., 17; & Jacob C., 15. Norman & John were mine workers. Jacob was a farm laborer.

John & Lucy's children were Harvey, age 9; Floyd B., 7; & Alma E., 4. Lucy's son was Sylvester B., age 13.

Lucy's brother, Arthur Lee Bunch, died October 7, 1943. He was living in Appleton, St. Clair Co, Mo when he was admitted to the MO State Sanitarium located in Mt. Vernon in Lawrence Co, MO. His death was from Pulmonary Tuberculosis. He had lived 64 years, 6 months, & 6 days.

Lucy died three years later.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy McKibben, 79 years old, who died at the Miami Baptist hospital

Thursday night, were incomplete late Saturday. A resident of Ottawa county for more than 40 years, Mrs. McKibben lived with relatives in Commerce and Fairland during the last several years. She was a member of the First Baptist church in Commerce.

She is survived by three sons, Harve and Jake McKibben, both of Baxter Springs Route 2, and Blanch McKibben of Fairland; two daughters, Mrs. Alma Mitchel of Brooklyn, N. Y., and Mrs. Frank Smith of Fairland, 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren."
