James served during WWI. In 1920 he was living with his first wife, Ann Wolf, in Dallas and worked for a rubber company. He & Ann had two children, Virginia Ann. & Robert R. who were born in 1920 & 1921 respectively. He was remarried to Georgia V. by the time of his death. He became an auto dealer at Suburban Motors in Los Angeles. He lived in CA for 40 years and was last domiciled at 458 Roxbury Dr., Beverly Hills, CA. He suffered from cancer & died of cardiac shock.
