Alice was reared as a child in VA at "Sunnyside" near Staunton. She married James Ewen Robertson (Jr), son of Maj. James E. Robertson, CSA, on 2/14/1894 in St Paul Minn. They lived in New Mexico & Texas where he sold mining supplies in the US and Mexico. His son-in-law, Stanley Summeril, was his manager. After the death of her husband Alice moved to Long Beach, California with her daughter and her grandchildren.
