Mrs. Hazel Schipper, 67, R.R. 1, Roann, died at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at her home.
Born Sept. 14, 1899 in Miami county, she was the daughter of Sam and Mary Ellen Yarian Bahney. She had lived all her live in the area of her birth. She was married in 1919 to Albert Schipper. Mrs. Schipper was a member of the Disco Methodist church and the WSCS of the church.
Survingn are the husband; three daughters, Mrs. Cecil (Betty) Kotterman, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Richard (Mary Ellen) Shock, Tempe, Ariz. and Mrs. Paul (Darlene) Salyer, Warsaw; five sons, Roy and Leon Schipper, both RR 1, Akron; alber Schipper, Jr., Denver, Ind.; James Schipper, Wabash and Gary Schipper, Silver Lake; two sisters, Mrs. Rosetta Oliver, Goshen, and Mrs. Bill Bemenderfer, Indianapolis; seventeen grandchildren, and one great grand child.
Last rites will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Disko Methodist church with the Revs Clyde Trumbauer and Roy French officiating. Burial will be in the Akron cemetery.
